Our first expansion for the TD-9! This expansion is based on our customer favorites in the TD-20 series - Master Picks and Studio Kits!

Hodge Podge supplies the drummer with 15 incredibly realistic acoustic kits modeled after our TD-20 Master Picks collection. These are kits designed to sound like lightly mixed real acoustics in the studio environment. The kits are designed for recording realistic sounds; allowing the drummer or engineer complete post production control at the DAW. Not only do these kits sound incredible for all types of music right out of the box, they provide an incredible foundation for studio recording!

Also included in Hodge Podge are 15 studio sets modeled after our TD-20 Studio Kits pack! These kits are plug n' play ready for on the go recording, gigging or just plain jamming! The 15 studio sets provide very similar realistic acoustic drums like our Master Picks with slight product effects added. These are not the same kits, but the favorite instruments are scattered throughout these awesome kits!

Finally, we've included three alternative cymbal patches modeled after Zildjian K's, A's and more! The alternative cymbal patches provide bright, dark and effects cymbals - including crashes, rides, splashes, swishes and chinas! Use the user spaces to build your own custom kits from any of the Master Picks, Studio Kits and Alt Cymbal patches!

Q: How is the kit arranged?
A: Our expansion packs are designed around default setups. Custom auxillary inputs are noted below. (note, not all inputs or their programming are availbale to all modules)

Important note: Remember to change the module's pad settings to MATCH YOUR PADS. By doing so, the correct volumes and pad response will take affect for your module and setup.

Hint: Your setup does not have to match ours! If you have a different set up than default, you can easily move instruments around within each kit. This is accomplished by using the "COPY" feature in your module.

Q: How do I order and download my purchase?
A: Click the PayPal button for your product in the "Purchase Now!" tab below. Please use an active/permanent email address. This email address is your registration. Following payment, click "return to merchant" to continue to your download. If you are not forwarded correctly by PayPal to your download page, simply contact the programmer of your expansion to confirm payment and have your file(s) sent. Upon purchasing our products, please remember you agree to our no-share policy and End User License Agreement. Our products are considered software. We do not issue refunds.

Q: What are the TD-9 installation requirements?
A: Installation requires an internet connection to purchase and download your file, a USB Memory key to transfer your expansion to your TD-9 module and a USB reader device attached to the computer to transfer your expansion to the USB key.

Q: How do I install my expansion?
A: Follow these simple steps:

Reminder! Save a backup of your module first to retain your setup, changes and other custom settings!

1. Place your order from the expansion page and choose "Return to Vendor" to reach your download.
2. Download the file to your desktop.
3. Make a backup of this original to CD or another location for safe keeping.
4. Extract the contents of the "zipped" file to your desktop.
5. With your module formatted USB key card in a reader attached to your computer, simply drag the "backup" file from your new folder to the INSIDE of the TD9 folder on the card. (this folder is located inside the "Roland" folder)
6. After closing the USB key window and removing the USB key card from the computer, power up the TD-9 module and insert the card following boot.
7. Choose Setup > Utility > USB > Load > Backup
8. Scroll to locate the backup/expansion you wish to load and press Load > Execute
9. It's that simple!
